About this product

The hold-down kit facilitates the removal and installation of suspension springs on transverse and trailing arm axles. Recommended e.g. for removal and installation with the internal spring tensioner - KL-0033-10 E.

The hold-down is inserted between the upper axle guide and the vehicle body and slightly pretensioned.

It holds the wheel suspension in its current position while compressing the chassis spring, which reduces the required clamping path and makes the removal of the suspension spring much easier.
